Engineering Culture

We are committed to providing our engineers with the best possible working environment.

We equip our engineers with latest generation Macbook Pros and other tools needed to do their best work, such as external monitors and docking stations. If you submit a request for a mechanical keyboard, prepare to engage in an enthusiastic debate with the rest of the team about everyone’s personal preferences, preferably over many coffees.

We strive to follow industry best practices such as unit testing, QA testing, code reviews, separate staging environments, comprehensive documentation, and continuous integration. We organize most work in weekly sprints with daily stand-ups. Team members regularly give and receive feedback during weekly 1-on-1s and quarterly performance reviews. We occasionally head off-site to hack away on prototypes and new ideas. Engineers are encouraged to present interesting or novel ideas during weekly team meetings.

Taking time off is subject to the current demands on your team’s work, but you will always be able to take at least 2 weeks off every year. Sales Development Rep

We are a growing, venture capital funded startup building a sales organization that brings emerging cybersecurity services to the mid-market and Fortune 1,000 companies. Your Contribution: This position is the front line of our growth strategy. You are a confident, professional and dedicated self-starter delivering a critical role in the success of our sales organization by proactively identifying, nurturing, and creating new opportunities. You should come in with energy to win and a hunter mentality to confidently position Terbium Labs to our future customers. This ideal candidate is always on the quest for learning and continued growth. Through success and positive contribution with your team, this role is the springboard for advancement across the Terbium Labs team as we win together, grow together, and expand market share with new customer expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Research and generate new leads and appointments through outbound prospecting.
  • Learn and leverage modern sales tools for high velocity selling effectiveness.
  • Exceed monthly pipeline KPI’s and new meeting quotas.
  • Work collaboratively with AE’s, Marketing, and leadership to improve our outcomes.

Account Executive

We’re building a sales organization based in Baltimore and are seeking Account Executives.

What You’ll Add to the Team

Based out of Terbium’s headquarters in Baltimore, you’ll be responsible for managing the full sales cycle of targeting new client growth.

  • 5+ years selling enterprise technology in fast-paced, competitive markets.
    Experienced self-starter with successful track record of opening new conversations, managing effective presentations, and winning new clients.
  • Great storytelling experience with applied consultative selling skills to engage both the technical teams and business unit managers.
  • Confidence calling C-level executive teams with emerging technology.
    OKR oriented with attention to detail in forecasting, managing stage conversions, and driving outcomes in the full sales cycle.
  • Experience with threat intelligence, information security, and fraud is an added bonus.
  • Track record of success exceeding quota targets and winning accolades.


Software Engineer

Terbium Labs is the world’s premier dark web data monitoring company.

Our product, Matchlight, combines a dark web crawler with our patented digital fingerprinting technology to provide an automated and private dark web monitoring tool. We’re looking for a Software Engineer that will help us with two core components. First, increase the resiliency and scalability of Matchlight to continue to address the dynamic and unpredictable world of black market traders, fraudsters, and scammers. Second, extend the systems that consume, transform, and process our crawl data using various data products for internal and external consumption. All of this includes work across our UI, API, Data Backend, and SDK. Throughout the process you will collaborate across the company, working with analysts, data scientists, and other engineers to identify issues and implement solutions.

We rely on the following technologies and skill sets but welcome candidates with adjacent skills:

  • Python 2.7, 3.6+
  • JavaScript, React
  • Variety of databases (relational, key-value stores, and document stores)
  • AWS Managed Services (S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, etc.)
  • AWS Serverless Services (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, etc.)
  • CloudFormation or Terraform
