Prior to joining Terbium Labs, Walther-Puri was the founder of Presearch Strategy, a New York City-based firm dedicated to applying technology and analytics to political risk, strategic intelligence, and cybersecurity through training and consulting projects. Throughout his career, Walther-Puri has worked as an analyst, consultant, and trainer in strategic intelligence and analysis for a major bank, a big data analytics startup, political-risk consultancies, and think tanks. “Terbium Labs understands that data has intrinsic value and I’m excited to join a team that is doing something to help people and organizations reduce their risk of inevitable data exposure,” said Munish Walther-Puri. “My skillset and Terbium’s focus on data integrity and using augmented intelligence to swiftly combat data theft, cybercrime, and fraud is a perfect match.”
The addition of Munish Walther-Puri to the executive leadership team at Terbium Labs comes on the heels of the promotion of Dr. Clare Gollnick, Chief Data Scientist, to the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The expansion of the leadership team underscores the continued growth of the company and market demand for Matchlight, the world’s most comprehensive and only fully private dark web monitoring system.
Since announcing the general availability of Matchlight in September 2016, Terbium Labs has experienced rapid growth and is on course to double revenues in 2018. The company has received much praise and industry accolades for its product innovation and visionary leadership. Since January 2017 Terbium Labs has been named a Silver Winner in the category of Best Security Startup of the Year by the 13th Annual Info Security PG’s Global Excellence Awards. The company won Innovator of the Year by the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland; Most Innovative Threat Intelligence Solution by Cyber Defense Magazine; and winner of the Data Leak Detection Solution of the Year by Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards. Terbium Labs was selected as a finalist in two categories for the highly competitive SC Media 2017 Excellence awards: Rookie Security Company of the Year and Best Fraud Detection Solution, and CEO and Co-Founder Danny Rogers was named an SC Media Reboot Leadership Rising Star.
